CONNECTIONS 23

We created the Connections program to foster and empower cultural producers in Aarhus and contributing to a more diverse cultural landscape within the city.

The 2023 edition of Connections kicked off with an Open Call in the spring, leading to a three-month program for selected producers. The program took an innovative approach, beginning with a major event on August 12 where each producerteam showcased their content or installations, or both, during the Connections’23 mini festival.

Following this initial event, the teams embarked on a journey of development, refining their ideas and organizing their own events in and around Kulbroen in the subsequent weeks. The program concluded in October 2023, marking a significant milestone in the collaborative cultural initiatives within the community.
